For everyone new around here, I wanted to get you up to speed! I'm Emily. Mid-40's and starting over. Right now, I'm in full "make this house a home" mode. Honestly, it feels like my whole life is under construction... from my dream craft room and my bedroom with wall-to-wall storage, to Brady's new Lego room and my "she cave" in the garage.

I've been taking you all along for the ride, and the finish line is finally in sight... at least for phase one of my vision!

Stick around for the next chapter because once the construction dust settles, organization is up next!

For this project you will need:

Canvas bags

Laundry Basket

**Optional: If you want to label your canvas bags, do so now. I labeled mine using iron-on vinyl. My labels included Tools, Tags, Ribbon & Bows, and Toppers.

  1. Taking your canvas bags, cut off the top portion and cut off the handles. You can make bags different sizes depending on the contents.

  2. Fold in the sides of your cut bag and cut little slits on either side. You are creating holes to feed the straps through

  3. Use the straps to tie your bags to the laundry basket.

  4. Fill your basket with rolls of gift wrap and gift bags... and fill your tote bags with all your gift-wrapping supplies. Now you're organized and ready for the holiday season!

For this project, you are going to need:

Olive Oil to gift

Plastic bowl with a lid (I found mine at the dollar store)

pair of tights

acrylic paint

hot glue gun

**Optional: gift basket, kitchen towel, etc.

  1. Take your pair of tights and cut off one leg

  2. Place the olive oil in one of the legs and tie off the top like you would a balloon. Trim off the excess.

  3. Taking a scissors, cut the lid of your bowl like you would a pizza

  4. Place the bowl into the other leg from your tights. This is going to take some maneuvering and patience

  5. Once your bowl is fully in the leg of your tights, tuck the end into that lid

  6. Place a significant amount of hot glue around the top of the olive oil bottle and place it inside the bowl forming a mushroom shape

  7. Use acrylic paint to paint your mushroom. I added spots and a butterfly.

  8. Gift your cute mushroom wrapped olive oil or add to a gift basket. This makes the perfect hostess gift or bridal shower gift!
